Welcome! My name is Heather Neely-Billings, I am a Certified Nutritionist,
aspiring Herbalist and chronic pelvic pain survivor.
After a ten year battle with Vulvodynia, I healed my own body completely
without prescription medications or surgery.
Once healed, I found myself re-assessing all aspects of my life, especially my career.
I had spent 13 years in Advertising/Marketing as a Graphic Designer - a job that no longer felt
like it "fit" me any more. I was less interested in the latest software, font or design trend;
and more interested in learning about natural approaches to health and medicine.
In 2016 I completed a summer Practical Herbalism class and learned how to maintain
a garden organically, and then turn the herbs and plants into medicines,
fermented foods, teas, tinctures and other products.
The class was such an inspiring and empowering experience that I decided to
go back to school to study Holistic Nutrition and Herbal Medicine.
I graduated with first class honours from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition,
with plans to become a Registered Herbalist with the Ontario Herbalists Association -
after I finish Wild Rose College's Practical and Master Herbalist programs.
My background in graphic design allows me to put an extra
personal touch into all of my client materials. (I even built this website).
I have a personal understanding of chronic pain. I know first-hand the anger, despair, fear and isolation.
I can empathize with your healing journey, because I’ve been through my own.
My services are designed to help empower my clients with the knowledge
to break the cycle of pain, heal their bodies and reclaim their lives, just like I did.
